Fundraising Total in excess of £70,000
Fife Curling Trust have now raised funds in excess of £70,000 towards the construction of their new Community Curling Rink in Duffus Park, Cupar. Much of this has been carried out in the curling off-season since the Fundraising launch in the spring. Interim ticket sales from their Grand Prize Draw has accounted for over £21,000 of this with 3 months of sales still to run. The balance has kindly been pledged or donated by local members and community.
With the new curling season approaching and minds returning to winter and the sport, it is hoped that pledges and donations will continue to come forward from the local curlers, to reach the £250,000 target, as well as the continued success of the Prize Draw ticket sales.
Thanks must go to local Club officials and volunteers for their help and enthusiasm in trying to acheive our fundraising targets.
