Fife Curling Trust Holds Successful Presentation
Fife Curling Trust held a successful presentation of their progress and plans at Elmwood College, Cupar on Tues 11th November.
The Trust Outlined their progress through the last 18 months and put forward their proposals for a new Curling Rink located at Cupar, Fife to the 80 people from 26 clubs that attended.
The main message of the evening was that of the necessity for all the local curling community to pull together to make the rink a reality. The local curling community will be expected to raise at least £250,000 of the total required of £1m.
The Trust outlined its plans on how this will be achieved. (please go to the fundraising page for further info and forms to download) a report on the meeting can be found on the Curling Today Blogsite http://curlingtoday.blogspot.com/2008/11/cupar-fundraising-begins-making-dream.html
